The cards speak more clearly the better they know you.
Rosaluna is built on a tarot engine grounded in the ancient tarot tradition, public-domain classics and Gülay Alaoğlu's own interpretation method. Shuffle the deck, cut it, choose the cards your heart is drawn to, and receive a reading prepared for you.
Rosaluna is the Spanish rendering of the Turkish name Gülay: gül is rose, rosa; ay is moon, luna. The app carries the years of tarot experience of the woman whose name it bears.
Choose your spread
Thirteen spreads, from the Daily Card to the Celtic Cross. Every position has its own meaning: past, present, future; you, the other person, the bond…
Shuffle the deck
Hold your question in mind, then shake the phone or tap the deck. A physics engine moves the cards like a real deck, sounds included.
Cut when you feel ready
No rush. Shuffle again if you like; cut the deck when you are ready.
Pick what your heart chooses
The deck opens into a fan. Slide, pause, and tap the cards you are drawn to.
Turn them over and read
Cards land upright or reversed. The engine reads each one by its position, orientation and relationships: the overall picture, love, work and money, your inner world.
At its heart, a tarot engine.
At the heart of Rosaluna is an original tarot engine, built on the ancient tarot tradition, classic tarot works now in the public domain, and the interpretation method Gülay Alaoğlu has developed over many years. It reads every card through its meaning, its position in the spread, whether it is upright or reversed, and its relationship to the other cards.
AI-assisted personalisation then brings that reading together with your question; spoken readings are narrated by a digital voice created from Gülay Alaoğlu's own voice, with her permission. Live one-to-one sessions, in which Gülay reads the cards herself, are booked at gulayalaoglu.com.
